The buzz today is the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn which also is happening on the shortest day of the year. This morning I painted this watercolor that hardly looks like the first day of Winter. For the shortest day to feel like the first day of spring, instead. I feel the shift. Hold the vision of whatever you dream. The energies are potent like supercharged magnets.

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined.” -Henry David Thoreau

Heart of the Lotus

Heart No. 26 has a natural feeling to it. It’s within a plant. It’s growing.

“Be like a lotus. Let the beauty of your heart speak.
Be grateful to the mud, water, air and the light.”
― Amit Ray, author of “Nonviolence: The Transforming Power”

Watch Marie Forleo’s interview of Seth Godin “Show Up and Do the Work, Even If You Don’t Feel Like It” is here:

Seth Godin inspires me in this interview – to the point I decided to post today’s not so perfect Heart No. 26.

By the way, today I found out I could restore my blog to what it looked like a week ago. It worked. What a relief!

Most importantly I am showing up to stay consistent in my desire to post at least once a week after posting 25 hearts in 25 days in a row.

Keep the faith.

Heart for the Holidays

Heart No. 24 by Mary Gow

Tis the season to be jolly even though there’s a pandemic going on. This heart reminds me of Santa Claus’ red suit with the furry collar. This is a heart with a furry collar.

Season’s greetings – the change of seasons show us the beauty of letting go as we begin a new phase of lights twinkling inside and out.

Holidays don’t have to be a time of crazy chaos crammed with last minute what-evers.

Treat yourself to the cozy feeling, the warmth of a furry collar (fake fur, of course), and a cup of hot tea to nurture your spirit.

“Keep a cool head and a warm heart.” – Mike Love
