Window at the Dakota

Here’s a photo I took of detail of a window at The Dakota, which is a historic housing cooperative built in 1884, located at 72nd and Central Park West in New York. John Lennon had lived here from 1973 until his death in 1980.

Starting a New Season

To greet the autumn equinox I sat in on a teaching by visiting Tibetan Monk Taklung Matul Rinpoche.

“Reality is illogical,” he said at the beginning of his talk.

“Appreciate the little things. Be adamant,” he said at the end.

I left smiling.

What Color is Today?

One of my sisters used to remind me that I might be more in harmony with Monday the if I wore a certain color that day. There’s many systems of thought regarding what color will maximize the energy of that day. Consulting Wikipedia I found this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_of_the_day. Maybe it will give you some ideas.
Sunday – Red
Monday – Yellow
Tuesday – Pink
Wednesday – Green
Thursday – Orange
Friday – Blue
Saturday – Purple
